Take a look around – the photos on the site are mostly from Nova Scotia which is on the East Coast of Canada; hence the name Mostly The Coast.

My name is John McCarthy and I’ve been taking photos for the last seven years or so. I live in Nova Scotia and the photos found here are those of how I see the province. Some of the photos are HDR experiments, some are Digital SLR and/or 35mm SLR and there are even some medium format photos taken with my Pentax 645 and Holga cameras.
