Shot Notes

This is the view from inside the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck, Cape Breton. I’m a gadget guy myself so it was really cool to see some of the first audio gear ever made. There is lots to learn about Alexander Graham Bell – I was familiar with maybe an eighth of what the man had actually accomplished in his life.

This is a composite of two separate exposures. I took one to expose the scenery out the window and another to expose the furniture inside the building. You can use anything from Gimp to Photoshop to do this sort of editing. I put the darker exposure on the top layer, made a mask on that layer and then painted out everything except the window.

I love the way this building looks – Just wait until I get some exterior photos up here.
