Well, I was going to dedicate a week or so to New York City here on the blog but have opted to wait a bit longer before I post the photos. I’m still going through and picking out the best in the lot.

This one was taken a couple weeks ago on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Toronto… somewhere in East York.

I’ve been away for a while but since I went to New York, I have amassed quite a few photos. I think it’s a good time to start up the stream again.

To start off NYC week here on the blog, I chose my favourite photo. Millions of people funnel through this city every day. I had an interesting time trying to find some moments to capture. It was a bit of a whirlwind trip but luckily we slowed down here to take a break. This fellow also appeared to be taking a break of his own.

It was so good to get out to the beach this weekend. Must get out of the house more! The tide was nice and low which made for some cool reflections.

Today we took a break from indoors and went to the beach. We came across a ditch full of ice and pulled over for a closer look. Taken in Lahave.

Consider this both a blog post and your local weather forecast for the next few days as well. It’s pretty cold round these parts. I took this exactly 2 years ago today.

The light was super nice in Dartmouth today. I attended Podcamp Halifax today and took in some great talks on topics from social media to business grants to the world of web comics. Great event to take in and the whole thing is FREE. Thanks very much to all involved in making this happen. I’ll post a batch of photos from my point of view shortly.
