Found this nice little section of sidewalk in Bridgewater a couple weeks ago.

Taken one evening at Rissers Beach. The rocks and sand along this stretch of shoreline are beautiful. I took this one with my trusty 50mm 1.8 lens. If you are getting into shooting with DSLR cameras, I would suggest getting a 50mm 1.8 lens. Nikon and Canon both sell them and they are one of the best bang-for-your-buck lenses out there. So sharp!

And now for something completely different. I took this on my trip to Vegas last October. The wedding we attended had the reception in one of the ballrooms on this floor. Everything. Was. Gigantic. Yet another photo from Shawnee’s S90. Love this camera!

Bookmark has been on Spring Garden Road for as long as I can remember. The internet tells me it has been there since 1989. I had Shawnee’s little S90 and decided to take some photos.

I seem to have just realized I have a window in my office. I put the blinds up yesterday to check out the snow squall swirling outside and left them up. Today the light was beaming in – gonna keep the blinds up for a while.

This section of Bridgewater is pretty interesting. It’s a steep one way street heading down to King Street. Makes for some interesting scenery.

I pulled over because of the general misty-ness of this part of the Lahave and as I went down on the bank of the river I noticed this huge tire frozen in the ice.

I HAD to pull over yesterday to take some shots along the Lahave. The warm weather really got the fog machine going in Dayspring

This is where some of the tastiest beer in Halifax comes from.
